Tree Felling & Dismantling
There are several reasons to remove a tree:

It may be dangerous.

Grown too large for its environment/surroundings.

Does not fit in with your garden design.
Depending on the tree and surrounding environment, we can choose the SAFEST way to remove a tree.
Straight fell - by using a specific cut at the base of the tree. Only if we have sufficient space can we use this method.
Sectional Dismantle - This can be done in several ways:

Climbing the tree using ropes and harness

Using a cherry picker or scaffolding
We always aim to use the safest and most cost effective method for our clients.
Tree Surgery
Crown Reduction - We reduce a certain percentage of the overall height and size of the tree by removing the ends of branches evenly throughout the crown, leaving a balanced and maintained shape.
This technique is used for many reasons including:

To reduce wind resistance

Reducing water up-take

To control the size of a tree in a restricted environment

To allow more light through
Crown Thinning - The selective removal of internal branches throughout the tree, with which tree size or shape is not changed. This will allow more light and air through the canopy, reducing weight on limbs (prolonging life) and allowing more light into a garden, without removing the tree completely.
Crown Lifting - This can be done to allow more light through. This should ideally be done before the tree reaches maturity, allowing quick recovery and to minimise wounds.
Dead wooding - This involves the removal of dead branches from throughout the tree. Carried out for both safety and aesthetic reasons.
Stump grinding and/or removal
Whether it is a stump from a tree we have removed or a stump from several years ago, we can remove it!
Stump grinder - removing the stump via a machine.
Digging - Should there be a requirement the stump can be removed via excavation.
Logs
Seasoned logs - Ideal for burning indoors, stoves, log buners etc. We can supply ready split and ready to burn logs.
We can deliver locally free of charge.
